CTC’s long-term epidemic prevention policy and strengthened measures in response to the government's third-level vigilance and epidemic prevention

The safety and health of employees is the first priority of CTC’s principle. At the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020, a number of epidemic prevention measures were immediately activated, and they have continued to this day. For long-term epidemic management, we have continuously updated policies to match the government's epidemic prevention measures, and even advanced deployment. And also do epidemic prevention drills continuously to immediately respond to changes in the situation at any time:

1. Full subsidy of vaccine costs to support employees to vaccination.

CTC fully subsidizes our employees to vaccination, supports the improvement of the vaccination coverage, and hopes to achieve the effect of community immunity, which will help control the overall epidemic in Taiwan.

2. Long-distance work, district diversion

The drill began in March 2020, and the remote and diversion work began in April. It was activated at any time depending on the epidemic situation to ensure the safety and health of employees and the rights and interests of our customers. This time, diversion and long-distance work will be activated before the level 3 alert nationwide is upgraded. The normal mode of work will not be restored until the epidemic situation is determined to be relieved. At the same time, we continue to adopt more ways to improve the efficiency of remote work, so as to be ready to react quickly to various crises.

3. accelerate automated factory

Reduce the labor-intensive manufacturing process and turn it into an automated process. Use the control system jointly developed with major information system companies to remotely control and integrate each process to optimize the configuration and try to reduce the possibility of crowds of most people.

4. Epidemic prevention group for all employees of the whole plant

All the employees are the epidemic prevention team. Establish the concept of epidemic prevention for all employees, establish a care and report system, and collect the health status of all employees first-hand. Anti-epidemic measures such as daily facial recognition and temperature measurement when coming in and gong out of the factory, automatic non-contact alcohol disinfection device, all-day full-time mask rules, meal time and seat separation, etc., to protect the healthy environment for employees.

5. Information equipment enhancement

(1) Add a terminal server to cope with remote work colleagues who can also connect to handle official duties.

(2) Strengthen information security management:
