Why the efficiency of DC/DC converter is lower than specification?

Troubleshooting
  • The efficiency test conditions in specification are typical input voltage and output full load. Please confirm whether measurement conditions are in consistence.
  • Please confirm whether the measured output voltage is low, or measure voltage at output pin of converter.
  • Please confirm whether there are other protection components at input side, such as diodes or inductors. Or just measure voltage at the input pin of converter.
